Here you can find a short description of the regular events arranged by the chapter. Their occurrence may vary depending on the availability of the hosts, venues and other factors but the chapter board is committed in keeping them as long and as frequent as possible.

Breakfast Roundtables from Helsinki and Vaasa

In April 2007 our chapter started hosting Breakfast Roundtables. A roundtable is a meeting where Project Managers discuss issues that they face on a regular basis and share tips on how to manage them. We also schedule topics of interest in advance. For example, the topics we have discussed include Agile Projects, soft skills and distributed teams.

These sessions are worth 1.5 PDU, quite valuable and normally enjoyable. There is a range of Project Management skills from a variety of disciplines to provide an interesting discussion. IBM is sponsoring the HKI sessions this year at their facility at Tietokuja 2, Munkkiniemi.

Also the board is committed in providing a variety of events like Project Management evenings, Seminars, Webinars and any possible occasion that can help the chapter members in sharing their experiences and knowledge, improving their professional skills, offering networking possibilities and also arranging PDU gaining possibilities to facilitate the renewing of PMP certificate.

Help is always appreciated by the board so feel free to propose yourself or share your ideas for creating a PMI Finland Chapter event!
