June 18th, 2010 (4 PDU daytime event)

On June 18th we will have a training session sponsored by Fiskars Oy. The session is for our PMI Finland Chapter community and our partner AIESEC. We have 15 seats available for each of the organizations, 30 all together. The training is free of charge and seats will be given away on a first come base. CAPM/PMP Exam preparation study group (week 34-44)

We are organizing a Exam preparation study group after summer for the CAPM and PMP examination.  Those who are interested shall contact Tuija Tuomainen (tuija.tuomainen@pmifinland.org) or Bernhard Korjonen (bernhard.korjonen@pmifinland.org).  We have planned to run 11 sessions each lasting for about 2 hours in the evening (17.00-19.00). Locations and exact dates will be announced later.

We would like to remind you that this will not be a training course but an opportunity to share learning experience with others. Each session will have a facilitator who will kick-off the topic of the day and present some highlights. Facilitators are PMPs and have therefore experienced the examination process themselves.

The study group sessions will be based on the PMBOK-Guide(r) 4th Edition. The Chapter will provide the guide at PMI member price for those who wish to have a copy.
The study group is free of charge, however, the PMBOK-Guide and examination fee will have to be covered by the participants themselves.

Overview of Earned Value Management - Free PDU session from PMSoft (5th June)

PMSoft is PMI-REP (Global) and serving the industry in Project Management over last 10 years.

In order to serve the PM community and share the knowledge to all the professionals we are conducting free WEBINARS related to advanced topics of project management since last couple of years.

These sessions are conducted by our industry specific subject matter expert.
In order to extend our unconditional services, We cordially invite all chapter members to attend our next session on “Overview of Earned Value Management”.

- You can inform your friends / acquaintances / colleagues so that they too will be able to take advantage of these sessions.
- For a group of interested persons we can arrange a separate session.
- You will need Pentium IV or equivalent processor, IE 6.0 or above, Broadband 512 Kbps, headset for attending this course.

This session is open to all and PDUs will be awarded for PMP certified professionals.
