Dean Pattrick, PMP

President & webmaster

Dean Pattrick gained his engineering degree from Croydon College (UK) and his MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics.  Dean has been involved with projects since the early 90's. From 1998 until 2007 Dean enjoyed working with several development projects/programs within the Services or Sales units of Nokia Networks.  Since late 2007 Dean has been heading the Nokia Music program office.

Petri Jäntti

Secretary

Petri Jäntti has been working 10 years in KONE with delivery projects for skyscrapers and big infra projects, project management and portfolio management, been involved also developing tools and methods for project managers. Currently Mr. Jäntti works as Director of Project Management Development in KONE Major Projects.

Petri Jäntti received his Master of Sciences in Civil Engineering from University of Oulu. Part of his education he has studied in TU Braunschweig in Germany and done his Practicum in Hochtief. During the career he has been living in Germany, Holland, Norway and United Arab Emirates in Dubai.

Bernhard Korjonen, PMP

Treasurer

Bernhard Korjonen (M.Sc. (econ), PMP) received his Master’s of Science Degree in Business Education from the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck, Austria in 2000. Mr. Korjonen began his career in 1992 as an operative and strategic controller when he joined his father’s family business, a medium sized construction business in Austria. In 1993 he took over the business which he successfully merged with another local company in Austria in 1996. Until 2003 he maintained his partnership in the company.
In 1998 Mr. Korjonen moved to Finland and pursued a career as a project management consultant and coach. Currently he is a Senior Project Management Consultant and Coach with Tieturi Oy in Helsinki, Finland.
Mr. Korjonen was has over 15 years of project experience, received his PMP in 2005, and is a PMI Finland Chapter Board Member since 2007.

Tony McGlinn, PMP

Past President

Tony is Director of the President of Finland chapter.Tony has around 28 years experience of project management internationally, and currently works as manager of the project management office in the information management department of a large multinational manufacturing company.

Rajiv Arora, PMP

Membership and communications

I was one of the founding board members of PMI Finland Chapter in 2004. Left the board membership in 2007 due to rotation policy of the chapter. I have long international Project Management experience of about 20 years in Design – Engineering – Construction projects. Presently working as Senior Project Manager with Wärtsilä. Have been actively involved in competence development of Project Management during last 7-8 years. I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from India in 1987 and got my PMP certification in 2002.

Seppo Halminen

Seppo has had around 30 years of experience project management internationally.Seppo sponsored founding of the Finland Chapter. He also initiated Nokia's membership in PMI's Corporate Council and is member in PMI's Corporate Council team.

Clara Nyman, PMP

Rregional Helsinki Breakfast Roundtable

Clara Nyman has been working within Telecommunication, Forestry industry and IT consulting during her professional career starting year 1996. She joined IBM in 2003 as part of M-real outsourcing their IT department. At IBM Clara has been working mostly as Project Manager in SAP implementation projects.She has a wide university degree, good working experience in both a national and international customer environment, experience of the international forest industry as well as thorough knowledge of IT-solutions and applications and an excellent knowledge of languages.

Sami Myllyviita, PMP

Regional Vaasa Breakfast Roundtable

Sami has Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering from Tampere University of Technology (1992). He has been involved in professional working life around 21 years augmenting experience in project management profession related to engineering, construction and project management contracting mainly within field of power plant project business. He works currently as Head of Project Management Office in Power Plants business unit of Wärtsilä and is responsible for development of competences, processes and methodologies and tools within project management. He is also process development manager and quality responsible for Project Management function in Power Plants business unit.

Tuija Tuomainen, PMP

Competence development

I received my Master’s of Science Degree in Computer Science from the Turku University, Finland in 1994. I have around 13 years of project management experience in international research and development projects, improvement projects and customer service delivery projects in telecommunication area. I started at Ericsson in 1996 and have worked most of the time as project manager but also few years as product manager; currently my position is Customer Project Manager. I have been involved in project management related process improvements and certified as Six Sigma Black Belt in 2006. I got my PMP certification in 2008.

Andrew Kallman has 27 years of professional experience in consulting, telecoms, manufacturing, marketing, and international management; and, over 15 years of cumulative know-how as a PM, PMO, and IT implementation specialist.
